Sixth Day

After to be enjoying with the Kikuyu tribe, we decided to go to Victoria lake.
The lake´s area is divided among three countries; Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

When we arrived there, we decided to have breakfast next to the lake while we are waiting the local guide. He was going to show us the village and different things about luo tribe.
The first vision is of women selling fish on the shore. They explain to us that most men drink a lot and smoke marijuana, so they fish and the children take care of each other.
The Luo Tribe is one of thefew tribes who don't do circumcision in Africa.
Talking about their culture, the guide told us that Obama´s father belonged to this tribe.

Now is moment of having dinner fish what they usually eat. While we are having dinner we tell them that we were with the kikuyu tribe two days ago, what causes one minute of tension due to the fact that kikuyu and luo tribes were at war for many years.
After this uncomfortable moment, they explain to us that kikuyu tribe killed many of their relatives. Although, they have already established peace between tribes.

Finally, we go to sleep after a very intense day where we have continued learning.
